The entire sandal body is molded from a single pour of marine-grade EVA compound that maintains its structural integrity after repeated immersion in saltwater, chlorinated pool water, and fresh river water without warping, delaminating, or absorbing moisture into the core. A hydrophobic surface treatment applied during the molding process causes water to bead and roll off the footbed and strap surfaces within seconds of exiting water, preventing the waterlogged heaviness associated with fabric-upper sandals. The outsole drainage channels are engineered at a 3-degree outward tilt, actively directing water away from underfoot contact zones during each step cycle. Sand evacuation slots positioned at the outer heel edges allow fine sand particles to exit the sandal without accumulating under the arch. UV stabilizers blended into the EVA compound prevent color fading and material brittleness caused by prolonged ultraviolet exposure on open beaches. The strap features a quick-release buckle mechanism that allows single-hand removal even with wet fingers. Buoyancy-tested to float upright in still water for easy retrieval if dropped at sea.
